Compressor

The project involved replacing 2 existing compressors with a larger and more efficient unit, The existing 2 compressors were then setup as redundant units. The new compressor is a 240 CFM compressor from Atlas Copco. the compressor required a full structural analysis of the roof, the roof analysis determined that the Compressor and supporting hardware could not be located in the same place. The compressor was placed on top of 1 column and the receiver tank and filtration system was placed on top of anther column. In addition, we also reworked the existing ductwork in the building to supply more air the 5M acoustic chamber.
