This design/build expansion project was for a Quality Control Raw Material (QCRM) Sampling Area. It was to provide additional space to the growing team and relocate the new facility near adjacent warehouse.
The new sampling space collects required raw material samples (including excipients) in solid or liquid form from the original supplier container transported to the GMP Warehouse. An appropriate ISO7 lab was required for taking samples to assess the pre-defined quality test attribute(s) to ensure the received raw materials meet the client's quality release requirements.
The quarantined raw materials for QC released testing includes a sampling staging area, down flow booths, a fume hood, temperature controlled units, computer workstations as well as personnel and material airlocks.
