Cell and Gene Therapy Processing Facility

MAI worked on the new 50,000 SF Cell & Gene Therapy Processing Facility in South San Francisco. This project involved the complete interior demolition of two floors of existing lab and office space, and removal of rooftop HVAC systems. The new 1st floor build out consisted of 10,000 SF of fully commissioned and validated cGMP lab spaces and 15,000 SF of new vivarium. All new HVAC systems had been designed, and BIM modeling was used to maximize efficient installation. The 2nd floor build out consisted of new lab and office spaces.
