Commercial Fill and Inspection Line
This two-part project encompassed an office tenant improvement along with lab space upgrades and a smart filler replacement.
The commercial tenant improvements occurred in the existing buildings, which housed both office and lab space, included demolition of partial areas of the first and second floors and buildout of a shelled tenant space.
The lab portion involved replacing the aseptic filler with a new smart filler in an operating cGMP lab space, including demolishing a partial area of the first and second floors.
New interior scope included new equipment, partitions, ceiling systems, new door, labcasework, interior finishes, and supporting mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for the new capper equipment.
The exterior scope included a temporary access pathway to move the capper equipment into the existing building.
The cGMP lab area surrounding the capper machine has a Class A (ISO 5) on the clean side, and Class B (ISO 7) on the dirty side, separated by a cleanroom wall system.
In total, the lab portion of the campus covered 1,320 SF, and the office tenant improvement covered over 18,000 SF.
